Well it's Groundhog Day, and everyone knows about Punxhutawney Phil. Well, Jen (from work) and I did a little investigating and found out that Phil is only correct about 30% of the time.
We are spending all of our time on this groundhog that really has had bad predictions when there's another groundhog who is doing much better at his forecast...Staten Island Chuck. I wish I was making this up. Staten Island Chuck has been correct 80% of the time! He should be getting all the glory, but his cousin in Pennsylvania is hogging the spotlight.
At any rate, looks like they both picked it to be an early spring...this can't surprise anyone, since we're in the midst of a crisis of global warming.
