The main point of the trip was for us to see the American Music Awards which was held Sunday at 5 p.m. (the day we arrived).
Our flight left Columbus, OH, at 6:30 a.m. with a scheduled arrival of 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Well, with my travel luck, we didn't land on time due to low clouds (low visibility) at the Burbank airport. So we circled for quite some time in the hopes it would clear up. Of course it did NOT clear up and we had to divert to San Diego to refuel. By now it's like 10:30 and we're supposed to be getting our makeup done somewhere already. We finally land in Burbank at like noon. We are supposed to be leaving Brian's apartment at 12:30...I think that's when we actually got to his place! Thankfully, Brian got us in a different way. We were going to be seat fillers for the AMA's to guarantee us a seat. Most of you I think would say I don't think I'm better than other people or anything like that. Well, when I saw who our fellow "seat fillers" were, I really got an ego boost. The outfits on other people looked something like this...

So we got a seat filler job but found out we were going to have to stand for 1.5 hrs so Beth called Brian and he got us into a VIP party downstairs in the Nokia Theatre where they had free drinks and food. We saw Omarosa and Beth talked to her. haha!
Right before the show started we put our little seat filler wristbands back on and sat in the "holding area" for a bunch of seat fillers. We ended up having great seats! Beth was a seat filler twice and I was once. It was actually a great time.
The BEST part of the whole show was when Beth and I went to the bathroom. Because commercial breaks are so short and the show is live, you have to be back in your seat by the time they go live or you get shut out in the hall. So we RUN to get to the bathroom and the bathroom attendants are pushing doors open so you know where the empty stalls are! Haha! Beth was in the stall next to me and asked "are you going to wash your hands??" since we weren't sure on how much time we had left! So we ran out of the stalls, washed our hands and made our way past old ladies and other people trying to get in and out quickly. It was hilarious.
After the AMA's, we got to go to the after party. It was a great party. We saw Rihanna there, Scott Weiland (former singer for Stone Temple Pilots), and met other people that Brian worked with. It was a great time. Sadly, we were about to pass out from fatigue at 10:30 Pacific Time.

The rest of the trip we did a ton of stuff. We took a bus tour of LA which got us to a ton of stuff. Brian took us to the Standard Bar (a place a lot of celebs go to) which had a rooftop that was so great. We also went into the Bonaventure and had dessert up in the rotating restaurant there.
The Standard had these cool things you could lay in...it was basically a waterbed. There was also a pool!

Here is a picture of the Bonaventure:

We also went to Malibu, Melrose Ave., drove down the coast to see all the beaches....It was a fantastic trip.

What's wrong with the dresses?
